Economy Soil

Soil This mixture is one of our heaviest soil based mixes. It's 50 percent sandy loam and 50 percent compost. It's great for mounds and building up areas, yet rich in nutrients.

Amended Loam

This blend has a 40 percent dirt base. It contains sandy loam, chicken manure, sawdust and triple 12 fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium). It is ph balanced at approximately 7.0 and ready to plant in. It's great for new lawns, mounding and general planting.

Plant Mix

This is a premium lightweight planting mix. A blend of chicken manure, sawdust, sandy loam and triple 12 fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium). This mix is perfect for amending and direct planting. It is ph balanced at approximately 7.0 and ready to plant in. This is also excellent for raised beds and containers.

Organic Garden Mix

This Garden Mix is the newest addition to our soil blends. This mixture is a light, free-draining blend similar to our plant mix, but meets OMRI. Our garden mix includes: worm castings, organic compost, chicken manure, delta sand, lava sand, sawdust, loam (dirt) ; approved fertilizers such as, oyster shell flour, gypsum, sawdust, Peruvian seabird guano, blood meal, and 7-5-7. It is excellent for raised beds and for incorporating into existing gardens and containers. It works well as a planting mix for heavy feeding plants.

Sonoma Compost Hi-Test

Dark, rich premium compost made from recycled yard trimmings and vegetable food waste. Ground chicken feathers are added to give this compost extra nitrogen. Sonoma Compost will improve soil structure and give new plants the nitrogen needed for a vibrant start. OMRI listed

Cold Creek Compost

Back by popular demand! If you're looking for compost with a kick, cold creek is it. 1/3 Chicken manure, 1/3 grape pomace and 1/3 yard trimmings; screened to 3/8 of an inch, and aged to perfection. Sit back and watch it grow!

Bark & Mulches

Arbor Mulch/Stringy Redwood Bark

Arbor Mulch This is a Fibrous, stringy redwood bark 6 inches and less. It has excellent matting properties. This bark is great for hillsides windy areas or where there and erosion control windy area or where there is sloping.

Wood Chips

This is a mixture of "clean" fir and redwood chips. It is light in color. Approximate size of each chip is ¼" by 1½". It is a great top cover for flowerbeds, parking lot medians and an excellent choice for pneumatic application.

Mahogany Chips

This is a mixture of clean fir and redwood chips, 2" and less. This is a processed wood product dyed to a rich red brown color, which will give you an appearance of bark, but with out the cost. It is colored with a UV protected colorant, for long lasting, beautiful color without fading. It is a very cost-effective ground cover for large areas; great for home and commercial applications and an excellent choice when needing an economical alternative to fir bark.

Mocha Mulch

This is a mixture of clean fir and redwood chips, 2" and less. This bark is dyed to a dark rich brown. It's a little softer in color compared to the black bark. Mocha Mulch is a processed wood product, which is colored with a UV protected colorant, for long lasting, beautiful color without fading. It is a very cost-effective ground cover for large areas; great for commercial or home applications and an excellent choice when needing an economical alternative to fir bark.

Play Ground Fiber

It is a smooth, natural certified playground chip. It offers a superior surface for playgrounds that is safe, accessible and affordable. Certified playground chips has become the modern choice for the play area. This product contains California Conifer wood that does not emit natural toxins, and there are no chemical additives or recycled by-products used.

Testing

Meets or exceeds government standards for ASTM-C136 (sieve analysis), ASTM F1292-96 and F-355-95, procedure C (impact attenuation) and 16CFR 1500.44 (flammability). Also meets or exceeds the California public playground standards requirements for wheelchair accessibility ASTM F 1951. It is great for designers, schools and others concerned with the safety of children, a healthy environment and meeting government standards.
